Keeping it real in Montreal!

So; "Keeping it real in Montreal!" - it had been a busy few days… I was still exhausted and jet lagged, and that was the best I could come up with!
But… speaking my mind, and being truthful to oneself, I can honestly say - we had a blast!
When you spend a LONG time planning for something… and your team have worked so hard… against a number of challenges (some at very last minute), and the fact we wanted to put on an amazing event to celebrate 40 years, I have to say I could not have been more delighted with the outcome.
This was truly one of our finest moments. Speakers, sessions, workshops, networking, collaboration, engagement… on leadership, people, negotiation, technology, branding, marketing, sustainability... all led to the grand finale of the spectacular Gala Dinner. When so many people come up to me and say - this has been magnificent and has left us with a sense of togetherness and connection which keeps this network so very relevant after 40 years - then I stand proud.
I cannot thank my team enough, our hosts at FBL, and all those involved in making this a tremendous success.
We kept it real, indeed.
