The Russell Bedford International Managers & Young Partners Conference 2025 in Hamburg, Germany was a huge success.

The conference kicked off with a welcome dinner at Block Brau with traditional German cuisine and artisanal beer. It was a wonderful opportunity for delegates to connect, learn more about each other and experience the benefits of being part of a global network.

Day one began with introductions and ice breakers, followed by an update from CEO Stephen Hamlet on the Russell Bedford International network and discussions around the new Centre of Excellence for Young Professionals. The programme continued with a focus on clients: understanding the client lifecycle and the importance of strong relationships built on trust, as well as encouraging loyal clients to advocate for our firms.

To conclude the day, delegates enjoyed the delights of the Hamburg Christmas market before their festive dining experience at Alster Lagune with beautiful views across the water.

Day two continued with insightful sessions on project management for accountants and the ever-challenging question of how to retain talent in these competitive times. Delegates enjoyed the additional networking opportunities and gained practical insights to take back to their firms.
