Russell Bedford International Celebrates Silver Success for Sapphire Elite Cheer Squad

March 2026

Sapphire Elite’s ‘Spellbound’ squad achieves outstanding silver at the UCA All Star National Championship 2026

As part of taking you further day 2025, Russell Bedford International was proud to support local UK cheerleading club Sapphire Elite’s ‘Spellbound’ Cheer Squad as they prepared to compete at the UCA All Star National Championship in Florida, USA in March 2026.

We are now delighted to share that the team has achieved an incredible silver medal on the world stage.

Competing against top international teams, Sapphire Elite delivered two exceptional performances across the competition, achieving “hit zero” routines on both days, a remarkable accomplishment that reflects flawless execution with no deductions.

Their consistency, precision and energy earned them an outstanding final score of 94.5667, making them the highest scoring UK club at the championship. They narrowly missed out on the gold medal by just 0.1 points to the Canadian national champions, highlighting just how competitive the field was at this level.

Cheerleading continues to be one of the fastest-growing sports globally, combining gymnastics, acrobatics, jumps and dance into high-energy routines that demand skill, teamwork and resilience. These are values that strongly resonate with Russell Bedford’s global community.

The daughter of Russell Bedford central office colleague, Gemma Benson, who has been a committed member of the club since 2016, was part of the team representing Sapphire Elite in Florida.

We are incredibly proud to have supported a team that embodies excellence, determination and teamwork at the highest level. Their achievement reflects years of dedication from athletes, coaches and their wider support network.

Congratulations to Sapphire Elite on this outstanding result, and for representing the UK with such distinction on the international stage.
