Russell Bedford Mohamed Al Hashmi aims for growth in the Gulf

December 2016

Lubbock Fine, London member of the Russell Bedford global accounting and audit network, has announced a joint-venture arrangement designed to expand its operations in the Gulf beyond the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and into 'mainland' Dubai, UAE.

A new entity, Russell Bedford Mohamed Al Hashmi Auditors and Accountants, has been set up in conjunction with UAE national and licensed auditor Mohamed Salem Saleh Ali AlHashmi, in compliance with local licensing laws. The new firm is registered as an audit practice with the Department of Economic Development, Dubai.

The JV practice will effectively operate as an extension of Lubbock Fine's existing team in Russell Bedford (Dubai) Limited (RBDL) and will be subject to the same audit quality assurance systems and procedures.

Announcing the launch of the new practice, RBDL director Stephen Banks commented: "We have successfully developed our business over the last ten years within the DIFC. Now, with the combination of our established Dubai-based team, an ideal local partner, and the backing of the globally-recognised Russell Bedford brand, we are looking forward to serving an extended range of clients throughout the whole of Dubai."
