Russell Bedford International has announced the appointment of JKLC Professional Services as the global professional services network’s new member firm in Lagos, Nigeria.

A newly established four-partner firm, JKLC is the result of a merger of three existing independent practices – Rilcost Consultants, Adeleke Adedoyin & Co. and Korede Odulaja & Co. The partnership includes one other partner who joined from a Big-4 firm.

Based in Lagos, the business capital of Nigeria, the firm has around 30 personnel in total and offers a full range of business management, financial advisory, audit, taxation and accounting services.

Clients are primarily small and medium-sized enterprises in a broad range of sectors, including construction, engineering, energy, information technology, financial services and farming.

Speaking of the appointment, Russell Bedford CEO Stephen Hamlet said: “It is fantastic to see the network growing in Africa, a region that we have dedicated much time to developing. I have no doubt that JKLC’s new membership will aid the firm’s growth and development both within and beyond Nigeria. Welcome to the network!”

Joyce Bassey, managing partner at JKLC, added: “Membership of Russell Bedford is an exciting step towards the establishment of JKLC as a leading firm in Nigeria.
