Conference season closes at the 2018 North American Partners Meeting in Boston

December 2018

Following a whirlwind year which saw our members gather together in Houston, Berlin, Munich, Ho Chi Minh City, New York, Dubai and Malaga, Russell Bedford's 2018 conference season drew to a close at this year's North American Managing Partners Meeting in Boston, USA.

Held at the office of Russell Bedford's Boston member firm, RBF, on 6-7 December 2018, the meeting's focus was on the network's growth strategy for North America.

Following the welcome address and opening remarks, the group discussed Russell Bedford’s aggressive growth plans for North America, future strategies and opportunities in the region.

All attending delegates from throughout North America delivered key updates on each individual firm and President of CoreValue Advisor Software joined to share the benefits of business consulting software in his presentation “CoreValue: Consulting in a Box.”

After lunch, delegates continued to deliver key updates and benchmarked against each other’s practice by comparing their statistical analysis.

The group dinner was held at the upscale and atmospheric Italian restaurant, Aria Trattoria. Delegates enjoyed some of the best classic Italian specialities that Boston has to offer while catching up on the day’s highlights.

Day two opened with an update on global network developments from Russell Bedford CEO, Stephen Hamlet, and continued with discussions on practice management issues, including leading through transition to become a best-in-class firm and recruitment and retention.

The meeting was deemed a great success, with the managing partners learning from each other as to best practices and techniques, whilst observing their shared challenges and opportunities.

Speaking about the meeting, Russell Bedford CEO, Stephen Hamlet said: "The engagement, the energy and the excitement of sharing ideas never ceases to amaze me at every Russell Bedford event. We have some extremely respected and highly successful member firms in North America which are a credit to the unbelievable talent bursting through our remarkable network of professionals. The deep and meaningful conversations about practice management, retaining talented individuals and strategic growth was insightful. After what has been a superb year of events and growth for the network, I can only look forward with more eagerness and enthusiasm for what will no doubt be an exciting and productive year in 2019."
