Russell Bedford Costa Rica, a member firm of the worldwide Russell Bedford accounting and audit network, has named Raúl Ruiz Barquero as a partner.  He will be in charge of the firm's Business Process Outsourcing division, covering the outsourcing of financial, accounting and payroll services.

Raúl has long experience in the outsourcing area and has successfully implemented many projects relating to the design and supervision of financial processes for both Costa Rican and multinational companies.  Previously he was an outsourcing director for a Big-4 firm, responsible for leading the firm's outsourcing offices in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and the Dominican Republic.  His experience also covers the fields of internal audit, internal controls and business risk analysis.

Raúl Ruiz has a degree in Economics with specialisation in Finance from the University of Costa Rica.  He is qualified as a stock exchange agent and is certified as a tax specialist by the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica (Technology Institute of Costa Rica).  He is a member of the Colegio de Profesionales en Ciencias Económicas de Costa Rica (Costa Rican Institute of Economic Science Professionals) and a founding member of the Instituto de Gobierno Corporativo de Costa Rica (Costa Rican Institute of Corporate Governance).
